flower petals fall
but the flower endures
As part of Japan After Hours|Kew, Dance collective Butoh UK will perform a series of solos for Mujokan throughout the Temperate House, taking inspiration from the surrounding plants.

Butoh-informed dancers and live artists, under the artistic direction of Marie-Gabrielle Rotie, will perform a series of vignettes.

They will embody the flower in its stages of blooming, fragrance and decay, to underscore the transience of all existence.
